Wellbeing Support
At Manor College, we believe that our commitment to the very best pastoral care enables our students to excel in their academic studies and to grow in their character and personal development. Our size means that we are big enough to offer a breadth of courses and yet small enough to ensure that each and every student in our Sixth Form is known as an individual and is offered personalised support that will allow them to succeed.
We are passionate about providing support beyond academic study. To enable us to do this, students attend tutor time every day where their personal tutor will be able to guide them. During tutor time the students will complete their UCAS and higher apprenticeship applications with the support of their personal tutors.
Students also follow a PSHE programme during tutor time as they transition to adult life. As part of this the students will cover the following topics; growth mindset, critical thinking, relationships, financial capability and preparing for exams (including dealing with exam stress).
Students should always seek their personal tutor or the Head of Sixth Form should they require extra support.
